The game started off evenly matched with the game feeling more like a tennis match than anything else, with some outstanding saves from Sarah (with some players going along with her) and some strong clearances from our defence line we managed to keep the score clean for a large part of the match.
However after a short corner from us and a quick turnover from Maidstone they managed to concede. As well and the other 2 but I don’t remember those.
We went into the second half level headed after losing the first half 3-0, and worked back for it.
With a straight strike from miss bridge on the top it brought the score to 3-1 only to shortly be followed by miss stan with a cracking slap out wide on a short corner to bring the score to 3-2. Unfortunately with not long left our ladies managed to keep it out but couldn’t get another in. Which left the final score at 3-2. But we had wine and cheese night after so we weren’t fussed!!
