The game started slow for Blackheath with both the goals being let in within the first 15. One from a strong counter attack by Canterbury and the other from a straight strike to the bottom right corner in a short.
But after settling into the game, we picked up our momentum and from then on the possession and chances were relatively equal.
After pressuring their half we won multiple short corners with the ball just missing the goal wide. Blackheath were unlucky to convert a goal with some scrambles to get past the goalie.
Yet our basics let us down and too often the ball was forced through the opposition so we lost possession.
