Sevenoaks L3 0v1 Blackheath &Elthamians L1’s

After a solid 7 games undefeated BEHC ladies 1s were looking to get another strong win under their belt.
Despite only travelling the short distance to Sevenoaks Charlie managed to mess up her navigational duties, “missed the junction” and send her car on a 20 minute detour.
Following a minute of silence at the end of the warm up the starting whistle blew and the game was on.
After a slightly uncertain start and a barrage of attacks from Sevenoaks, the BEHC defence remained unbreakable.
Kate Peth continued on from her success at the straight strike last week and absolutely blasted the ball into the goal making it 1-0 BEHC.
Half time consisted of slightly less sweets than usual due to some being eaten on the journey to Sevenoaks as survival rations.
Despite the lack of sugar high the 2nd half was dominated by BEHC, tensions started to run high as Jilly Balboa kept getting body checked and an unfortunate Sevenoaks player got in the way of the Brown sisters.
The BEHC ladies 1s are always trying out new skills, some more successfully than others. This weeks theme was aerial balls, Both Kath and Ceri stepped up to try out their aerials, Kath’s went into the face of another player and Ceri looped one back to Sarah just in case she hadn’t already had to make enough saves.
Another great team performance with incredible work all over the pitch.
