It was not all ‘white’ on the night

We had just seen another team in white lose and we went into the game believing our fate would be different. The rain was relentless and the wind blew up a frenzy. Pathetic fallacy perhaps (Google it).
Highlights:
1. Our goals.

Pia got us on the score sheet with an amazing tap in after linking in with Penny

The second goal was scored by Amanda ‘the Bobble Hat’ Sibande, casually taking the ball and the keeper to the left and scoring from the most acute of angles.

2. That Jen was OK despite the vicious cut to the forehead.

3. Dr Ibister’s bedside manner.

4. Jen’s injury being removed from Facebook because it was so gruesome.

5. Watching rugby with the team before the game.

6. Lucy, Hannah and Netty’s post match death drops. Shablam!

7. The fear in Zoe and Vicky’s eyes at the thought of perhaps having to dance to ‘Good as Hell’ in front of everyone in the club house after the game.

8. A puppy.

9. Jazz amazing skills down the right

Low points:
1. Lots of flying hockey ball related injuries. A particular shout out to Karen and Jen.

2. The final score.

Player of the match was Amanda – all hail the Bobble Hat!

TFC award went to Yanoulla.

We have taken a very brief break from our undefeated streak this week. I am certain it will return next week. Let’s finish this half of the season on a high, ladies!

There were also some cards given out.
