COACHING TEAM:

(Director of Coaching Seniors & Juniors) Jules Halls

As of 2023 our new Director of Hockey is double Olympian Jules Halls. He is now entering his third season at the Club previously as the Ladies 1’s Coach. Jules Halls won 195 caps for England and Great Britain. He was part of the Great Britain squad at both the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and 2000 Games in Sydney. He has won a Silver and 3 bronze medals at the European Championships as well a bronze at the 1998 Olympic Games. His playing career has seen him live and play in Australia and the Netherlands.
His coaching career started at St Albans as Director of Coaching and since then he has coached at Old Loughtonians then onto Holcombe, Wapping, and Sevenoaks.

(Director of hockey) Calum Giles

Double Olympian and highly-respected coach Calum Giles is the lead boys hockey coach at BEHC. Calum Giles won 143 caps for England and Great Britain and scored 110 international goals. He was part of the Great Britain squad at both the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and the 2000 Games in Sydney, as well as winning a bronze medal with England at both the 1995 and 1999 European Championships.
