Are you looking for an opportunity to help within Blackheath and Elthamians Hockey Club? Our hockey club continues to thrive thanks to the volunteers that do so much work in the background to help run the club. We are thankful to all the members, parents and others who help with coaching, umpiring, fundraising and management work.

We hope that our members will embrace the idea of donating your time and skills to support our junior section and by doing so enhance the experience our children have as hockey players for BEHC.

We have a wide variety of roles available (on and off the pitch) from team managers, coaching, umpiring to fundraising, joining the management team, helping with hockey events to baking cakes for our café. We genuinely welcome any help you might be able to give even if it is just once or twice in the season.

Roles include:

Coaching assistant
Umpire
First Aider
Café / tournament helpers (run every Sunday from 9am to 12pm)
Socials for the children at Christmas and End of Season events
2nd Hand Kit collection and sales
Club Notice Board updates
Website updates
Junior Instagrammer
Fundraising and sponsorship
Welfare Officer
Treasurer
Membership coordinator
Fixtures coordinator
Team Manager for each age group for boys and girls from U6 to U16’s
